THE DINNER

Dinner is reserved to guests who stay overnight in the farm stay. Our philosophy is to serve just meals with our own products, maintaining the genuineness of a simple, traditional and organic cooking. The menu is fixed and varies every evening, according to the availability of the seasonal products. It includes an appetizer, first and main course with side dish and fruit or dessert.

Some examples of our dishes:

  • "Pallotte cace e ove"(cheese balls with eggs): typical dish of Abruzzo traditional cooking. According to the ancient Abruzzo recipe, cheese balls are fried, but we chose to roast them, in order to make them lighter and halthier.

  • "Fiadone": salty cake usually filled with cheese that is also prepared with a kind of wild spinach, growing on high mountains and called "orapi".

  • Ravioli: a kind of pasta prepared with spelt and solina flour, stuffed with sheep ricotta (soft cottage cheese) and served with tomato sauce. Finger licking!

 

In case of food allergies, intolerances or particular requests due to your diet, upon notice before your arrival, we will do our best to meet your needs!
