THE BREAKFAST
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day that provides the right energy to start off the day on the right foot and in excellent mood. That is why it is important to eat healthy and genuine products, carefully prepared with local ingredients.
Some examples:
- Pizzelle: typical sweet of Abruzzo's tradition that long ago was always present on the tables of parties and ceremonies, as it happens still today. Those prepared at our farm stay are enriched with spelt flour and the various natural flavorings that make them unique. They are cooked in the so-called "ferro", an iron instrument that can go directly on the flame.
- Boiled tarallo: ring-shaped sweets cooked in boiling water. They are great soaked in milk or even in wine!
- Plum cake: different from the usual plum cake, because it is prepared with spelt and solina flour.A special fragrance difficult to describe! It is much easier to taste them!
- Yogurt: homemade with milk from Abruzzo pastures, it is ideal for starting the day, and it is delicious if you taste it with fresh fruit and honey, produced in the Majella Park.
- Jams: produced directly in the farm stay with organic fruit of the farm, they are ideal with fresh bread or cakes.
